About Me..

From a young age, I've always been passionate about health, wellness and beauty. While I was in High School, I began apprenticing as a Hairstylist in 2012 at Studio 1284. Following that, in April of 2013 I trained with Nail Career Education focusing on Acrylic and Gel nails, Gel polish and Manicures and Pedicures. Shortly after that I moved to Thailand for 7 months to spend time with my Grandfather and finish my schooling.

When I returned from overseas, I knew I wanted to get back to the beauty industry. I started working at the Nail/Lash Bar salon as a Receptionist and slowly worked my way up to become a Full-Time Nail Technician. In April of 2015, I trained with Lash Forever to learn how to execute Individual Lash Extensions. I expanded my skills a year later to work on Full Body Waxing and Tinting at Nova Beauty.

From there, I started working Full-Time focusing on Nails, Lashes, Waxing and Tinting. In November of 2016, I completed the Microblading course at Nova Beauty, and the following April 2017 I completed a Private Volume Lash Course with Micha at Nova Beauty.

In the Summer of 2017, I opened my very own Home-Based business, Beauty by Yem. I love seeing my Clients happy after receiving their beauty treatments, and I will continue to broaden my experience in the beauty field and look forward to studying other areas of beauty services.
